Vision Statement
At The Link Church, it really is this simple, we want to inspire people to have a meaningful relationship with Jesus.
We want to honour Jesus in everything we do, not just in our songs, not just on Sundays but, every day of the week.
We have see how fast people point fingers at other Christians but at the Link, we strive to be different.
Rather than trying to figure out what others need to do, we have made a decision that we will love God, we will love people and we will make a difference in the world around us. If we keep our attention on what we can do rather than telling others what they ought to do, we believe we can inspire them to pursue that meaningful relationship with Jesus.
We see a church where lives are genuinely transformed, not by hype, not by pressure, but by the love, grace and truth of the Bible.
A place where people don’t just attend, they belong.
A place where you don’t just learn about faith, you live it.
Purpose
We believe the world has left its mark on people but it is time Christians leave their mark on the world.
We’ve committed ourselves to build, not break, add, not take and to push people closer to God and that’s why we’re passionate about building and planting churches wherever necessary because the gospel is too good to keep to ourselves.
Our relationship with Jesus is personal, but it was never meant to be private.
We want to live this thing out Monday to Sunday, at work, at school, at home, in our neighbourhoods because faith that stays inside four walls was never the goal.
We’re also not interested in being inward focused, we want to partner with other churches and organisations. We want to bless our community. We want to see our city flourish.
Are we able to meet every need right now? No, but nothing stops us from believing that with God’s help, we’ll be able to help more people tomorrow than we can today.
